I plan to use my degree to start my own horticulture business someday.

I would like to thank my family for being patient with me and supporting me during my time at NC State. I would also like to thank all the professors and instructors I have had for teaching me lots of valuable and practical knowledge that I will be able to use to find jobs or start my own business.

Alex is the definition of resiliency, hard work, and dedication. I have known Alex as his degree advisor and his instructor. During my interactions with Alex, I have realized that his commitment towards completing his goals is unmatched, even under difficult circumstances. Behind his tranquil and quiet personality, there is an intelligent individual not afraid to work hard. I wish Alex the best success in his next chapter, and I have no doubt he will master any new challenges on his path.
