Advisor Comments (Brian Whipker):
Josh has the most amazing gift of being an excellent writer.  He can make the words sing on paper and accurately describe scientific experiments with ease.  Have never met someone with such a gift.  He is also a very dedicated and hard-working individual.  While at NCSU, Josh wrote 11 scientific peer-reviewed publications and 58 industry-extension publications.  With such excellent communication skills, he will go far.

Advisor Comments (Matthew Vann):
Josh, we are so very proud of all that you have accomplished! I think back to the first time I met you as a Masters Student, and little did I know that my journey was about to overlap yours. It is rare that a student has such a profound impact on the career of a faculty member, but you did just that in your time here at NC State. So, not only do I say congratulations today, but I say thank you for all that you’ve done. Wishing you all the best!
