I’d like to thank my mom and dad Ronna Garrett and Robert Garrett for supporting my aspirations and believing in me. I’d also like to thank my former colleagues and supervisor at the US National Arboretum for introducing me to my passion. Also, people in the department such as Issac and Helen who made me laugh so much and always allowed me to hang out at their offices after and in between classes. Go Pack!
What is the best thing about studying horticulture at NC State?
I loved the quirky personalities and enthusiasm that came with being in this department.
