Fall field trips with the horticulture club and a well-known, well-connected faculty in the field of horticulture.
Do you have plans for after graduation? Are you currently working?
Plant Breeding. Job still pending with major brand, will continue working at arboretum otherwise.

Trace is a passionate plants person and a hard working. If you want a task done, get Trace on it! From the beginning of his time at NC State, Trace stood out as an extremely focused student. A cut to the chase sort, that wants to get on with his Horticulture career. He explored several topics within Horticulture before he realized that plant breeding is his passion. Trace is a student that loves to explore the plant world. His intellect and strong work ethic mean that he will succeed in anything that he chooses.
