How are you planning to use your degree?

I plan to continue my research at NC State with Dr. Liu as a Ph.D. student.

Whom do you want to thank?

My parents, Dr. Kozel, and Dr. Liu for all supporting me over the years in all my projects, eclectic efforts, and failed projects!

What is the best thing about studying horticulture at NC State?

Lots of diverse things to do/people to talk to and new experiences to keep things interesting day-to-day.

Do you have plans for after graduation? Are you currently working?

Yes, continuing on in the Liu lab with several projects including tomato anthocyanin production, bacterial wilt resistance in tomatoes, and species-independent methods of plant transformation.
