I plan to attend Cornell University to pursue a PhD in plant breeding starting in fall 2022.

Dear Lena, From the moment we met to the time you started your journey to grad school, I knew that you are brilliant with a mission to accomplish. The road got bumpy with covid-19 pandemic and isolations. Think about those late night study sessions and those days dreaming about your future. But with your perseverance and determination you finished it up strong. With techniques and knowledge that you acquired at NC State, I believe you will able to step into new frontiers in your professional life and grow to achieve your goals, either as a breeder in a company, being your own boss with have your own company or getting into academia. It is time to celebrate your accomplishments, think and do extraordinary things. Congratulations!
