I plan to pursue a master’s degree in horticultural science

I would like to thank my parents for supporting me and Dr. Whipker for his mentorship and guidance in learning how to design and manage research projects.
What is the best thing about studying horticulture at NC State?
The exposure to a wide variety of faculty and departments when completing my degree.
Do you have plans for after graduation? Are you currently working?
I will be starting my master’s degree under Dr. Whipker focusing on hemp substrates.

Patrick is a deep thinker and a man of action. He has found his niche in Horticulture in the world of research. He has even published nine peer reviewed manuscripts, one with his mother – another outstanding Horticulture scientist! He will be continuing his education pursuing a Master of Science in Horticultural Science working with Dr. Brian Whipker.
