Committee Chair Comments (Mark Hoffmann):

Tekan has joined our laboratory in 2018, after he graduated from North Carolina A&T. He was one of our first full-time team members, and has shown over and over again that he values team-work, collaboration and communication. Tekan was always there for others in our group, is a cherished member of our team, a dear friend. He made incredible progress the past two year, and his hard and dedicated work leads to two publications. He will be following his dream at UGA to pursue a PhD, and we wish him all the best in the world, knowing that he always can call our group and NC State his home.
